Day 1: Lima

Arrive lima airport. Meet on arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Lima-Cusco-Urubamba

Early morning transfer to the airport for flight lima-cusco. Arrive cusco airport. Meet on arrival and inmediate transfer to the sacred valley of the incas. Afternoon visit to the salt mines of maras (B,L,D)

Day 3: Urubamba

Morning visit willoq community (great experience) picnic lunch at the river stream afternoon tour to ollantaytambo site. (B,BL,D)

Day 4: Urubamba - Abra Malaga-Sta.María

Early morning drive to peñas archaeological site and birding. Continue all the way up to abra de Malaga (4,350 mts) to see glaciers. Then all the way down from timberline at 3,500mts down to alfamayo at 2,700 mts. few spots in the andes pass through high polylepis forest and grass land of this kind. Continue enjoying and walking down hill some unique habitats along this road. Small cascades,endemic peruvian birds, orchids, inca remains, native people, bamboo forest, etc. Continue to santa maría (1,200mts) small town where we overnight. (B,L,D)

Day 5: Santa María - Santa Teresa

Morning drive combining with walking to various habitats and small villages. Great urubamba canyon views, pineaple, tea, coca and coffee plantations, birding, photography. Early afternoon arrive Santa Teresa enjoy the most fascinanting just opened thermal baths by the shores of the urubamba river (B,L,D)

Day 6: Sta.Teresa - Machupicchu

Enjoy termal baths in the morning. Early afternoon to Carrillchayoc for a great truck drive for 20 minutes to hidroelectrica train station (Km122) Intiwatana Inca remains will be visited. Great view of the unknown side of Machupicchu midafternoon aboard the local train for 35 minutes another great experience to machupicchu train station and transfer to the hotel (B,L,D)

Day 7: Machupicchu

Early morning bus ride up to Machupicchu “The Lost City Of The Incas”. Enjoy the site all day long late afternoon return to Machupicchu pueblo. (B,L,D)

Day 8: Machupicchu - Cusco

Morning train to Ollantaytambo station. Drive to Cusco along the route visit chinchero town, Inca site and the famous weavers. Early afternoon arrive Cusco and to the hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 9: Cusco

Morning Saqsaywaman Inca remains tour. Afternoon Cusco city tour. (B,L,D)

Day 10: Cusco - Lima - Outbond

Early morning transfer to the airport for flight Cusco - Lima. Arrive Lima airport and transfer to the hotel. Enjoy Peruvian cuisine at local restaurant. Early afternoon old Lima city tour. Night transfer to the airport for outbond flight (B,L)
